Hello everyone.

This mostly for all those people who watched and left me some beautiful lovely comments about my stuff, icons mostly. Animated and still.

Well, i have some sad angry and slightly abusive news to tell you.

DA decided to delete everything of mine. EVERYTHING.

I was warned that this might happen by another user, but i thought that DA would at least give me some kind of warning about my pieces rather then just deleting the 100+ works that i had here.

Aparently my fanart was illegal. The creative commons were incorrect, so everything that was not right was deleted.

I maybe be acting rather passive agressive about this now, but i can tell you i am only doing that for my own sake, i can feel the rage and anger through my body and i know that as soon i let my anger fully release that i would suffer from an asthma attack as i usually do when i work myself up. I know it's weird.

But i am really dissapointed in DA, not only is there catagory system confusing shit, and all that, the creative commons and things are, well i skim over i've never really delved into them, because even though i've had this journal for about 2 years, i still had no idea what i was doing.

Had DA given me a warning and told me to change the creative commons, i would have. Even though there was 100+ of them, i love sharing my stuff on here SO much that i would have gone through ever single piece changed every single common.

Because of this in short, to sum this all up, i've decided not to update here at all. I have my icon journal on Livejournal which i LOVE because it's my fanart / fandom central. - [link]
I'm going to miss being here, because i mean, i did love it. Loved the comments and kind people here. But DA is so... god, words can't describe how annoyed i get at DA constantly.

So yeah, sum it all up again *sigh* I'm leaving. I love you all. Warn everyone about this, tell all the twilight fans out there.

PS: And i will check back on all comments and reply to anyone who does so, and i will try and hang around a little bit to check up on everyone and all your awesome stuff, but i might not be sharing what i do best anymore =[

EDIT: Ok. I just had a look at the DA copyright thing. And it does state that they will remove anything that they believe infringes against the copyright straight away without warning to <s>cover there arses</s> not cause more damage.
It has a bit on what can be considered copyright too.
BUT! Now here's the part that got me:
What about "Fair Use"

"Fair Use" is the notion that some public and private uses of copyrighted works should not require the permission of a copyright owner.

What? Like, hmm i dunno a video clip shown on a website that can be viewed nation wide by ANYBODY?! Hmm, i seriously don't know what these guys are on about. And they never KNEW that i didn't have premission and dude, as far as i know, every fan out there on the web has premission because it's a wide known fact that when that stuff is put out, SOMEONE is going to icon it. So it's like a basic underlined rule, that IT IS going to be turned into something else, no matter what. It will happen.

But the most disturbing thing for me was the "When we become aware of..." now i don't know about you guys, but to me that says that i was reported by someone. And if that is true. Come on that was below the belt who ever you are!

Speak of below the belt, DA when you report that there's been a removal, MUST YOU LINK ME TO THE WORK THAT'S NO LONGER THERE?!
